I chose the view I did (the eighth grade hallway looking down towards Mrs. Tasker's room) because I wanted a challenge, the other hallways were too easy. I also chose it because a lot of my friends were doing it, and I didn't want to be alone. =) Another reason I chose this hallway is because it looked plain old fun! I thought it would look sweet when i finished (in my opinion I think it does) so i tried this hallway.
A few problems I faced was, the back wall, the benches, and the doors. The back wall wasn't flat at us so we had to do a lot of measuring and had to do a lot of angles. The benches were difficult because they weren't straight, the edges were rounded. When we figured them out it wasn't that hard though. The doors were just hard because of the handles. You don't want to mess them up, but you have to do them.
I think I improved a lot especially getting the 3-D look. It also doesn't look like a top view like my other one. I also think I improved because I am not embarrassed of my after shot.
I do think it was succesfull, I like it a lot!
MONA LISA!
Before: After:
I chose to do my Mona Lisa as Mia Hamm because she is absolutely amazing, and I wanted to have picture of her. =)
I had a tough time figuring out what I wanted to draw, and I had a worse time with the skin. The skin was an easy fix, when Mrs. Ruggles helped me, especially with the cheeks.
I think I improved tremendously! I can draw realistically, and not the football shaped eyes. I also learned how to draw noses too which really helps!
I learned a sort of funny fact about the Mona, she has no eyebrows!!!!! haha
